How do I cancel a session?
This article explains how to cancel an upcoming session, issue refunds or credits to attendees, and how to reinstate the session if necessary

How to cancel a session from the Timetable:
Cancelling a single session within the timetable will not have any impact on the other sessions within the schedule. When doing so, you have the option to notify attendees of the cancellation via email, and whether or not to refund or credit attendees.
- Navigate to the Timetable page and click into the relevant session
- Click ‘Cancel session’ in the top-right
- Select whether to refund/credit the session fee to the attendees or not
- Select whether to notify the attendees or not
- Click ‘Continue’ then review the refund/credit options
- Click ‘Process’ and you’re done!
Important: Only completed payments made through a payment provider that supports refunds, will be eligible to refund. For more information on this please click here.
Refunding/crediting will only process if the class has already been invoiced for. If you’re unsure about how to cancel a class, reach out to us at help@thrive4.com

How to reinstate a cancelled session:
Navigate to Product Management > Schedules and select ‘Calendar view’ at the top
- Find the Session you need to reinstate (cancelled sessions are highlighted in red)
- Note - the session must be in the future
- Click on the Session, then Click "Reinstate Session"
Note: Reinstating a session will not contact or reinstate any prior attendees, or raise any invoices.
