Member guide: How do I delete my account and data?
Important: To adhere to financial auditing compliance, certain personal data must remain on your account and on the organisation's system.
Your JoinIn account and the personal data associated with it are owned by you. If your account is linked to one or more organisations using Thrive4, the organisations do not have the authority to directly delete your account, or your associated data once financial activity has been recorded.
However, both you and the organisations can choose to stop sharing data at any time to protect your privacy once it is no longer needed for the purposes it was originally needed for. This ensures the compliance with financial auditing regulations while safeguarding your personal information.
Deleting personal information:
- Login to the JoinIn app or online portal
- Click/tap your profile or another contact from the dashboard or under ‘Friends and family’
- Open ‘Personal Information’
- Remove the relevant information and submit
You can fully delete a contact’s profile using the bin icon.
Note: As the account owner, you cannot delete your own record. For help removing your account, please contact help@thrive4.com and a member of the support team will be happy to help.
