How do I add and manage consents?

You may need to ask your customers to consent to certain policies or agreements - here's how

Creating and editing consents

  • Navigate to Organisation setup > Data collection > Consents
    • There are 8 default consents that you can edit as needed
    • Access to medical information, First aid, and Photography can only have their descriptions edited, not the titles, as they are tied to data elsewhere in the system
  • Click the ‘+’ icon in the top-left corner to create a new consent
  • Set the consent title in the ‘Label’ field, such as ‘Pick up policy’
  • Write a description of the consent in the text box below
  • Click ‘Save’


 

Linking consents to your products

By linking consents to your products, you can ensure contacts agree/respond to certain consents when making purchases via the shop.

  • Navigate to Product management > Products
  • Select a product or product group from the left sidebar
  • Open ‘Consents’ and select the consents you would like to display at checkout for the product
    • Don’t ask – won’t be displayed
    • Optional – will be displayed, but answering yes isn’t required
    • Required – must be agreed to before proceeding


You can also link consents to products from the Consent page itself – simply select the consent on the left, and the products or product groups on the right.
