Teams overview
The Teams feature lets you organise players via team and squad - helping coaches to keep on top of unpaid subs and access safeguarding information while on the go
How to create squads:
Before you can create teams, you’ll need to set up squads – teams are grouped under squads.
Creating squads
- Navigate to Product management > Products
- Click the 'Add product' button at the top-right of your screen
- Choose ‘Product’ and ‘Squad’
- Give the squad a name, such as ‘Under 11s’
- Add the product to an existing squads product group, if you have one (leave blank if you do not)
- In ‘Details’, ensure the squad status is ‘Public’
- You can then assign the squad settings such as consents and forms, which will be required from the members on sign-up
Tip: Add membership fees under ‘Required products’ to ensure subs are collected on sign-up.
How to create teams:
Once you’ve set up your squads, you can start adding individual teams within them.
- Navigate to Teams > Player management
- Select a squad from the left sidebar
- Click ‘Create team’
- Give the team a name and colour
- Click ‘Create’ to finish

Home
When you click into a squad, you’ll see an overview of key information including coaches, payments due, number of players etc:

Events
This tab shows you a summary of all upcoming and past events, month-by-month. From here you can create or import new events, or edit existing ones.

Players
This tab allows you to manage your players – selecting players gives you the following options:
- Send an SMS or email
- Add or move them to another team
- Request payments
- Remove them from the squad or team

Coaches
This tab shows all assigned coaches and their respective teams – from here you can:
- Assign a new coach
- Send an SMS or email
- Add or move them to another team
- Request payments
- Remove them from the squad or team
- Change their role (between squad or team coach)
- Remove them from a squad or team
Payments
This tab shows you a full breakdown of outstanding payments by player. You can filter this list based on the amount owed. Selecting one or more players allows you to:
- Send an SMS or email reminder
- Request payments directly
Messages
This tab shows you a report of all SMS and email history to the players, including:
- The message contents
- The recipients
- Who has:
- Received the message
- Opened the email
- Clicked any links
- Marked the email as spam
Settings
From here, you can edit the squad or team name. Additionally, for squads, you can add a cover photo and manage coach permissions, and for teams, you can delete the team and all related information.
If you need to delete a squad:
- Navigate to Product management > Products
- Select the relevant squad from the left sidebar
- Open ‘Details’ and click the bin icon in the top-right corner
Note: Squad coaches have access to the squads and all the teams and players within
Teams coaches only have access to the specific teams/players they’re assigned to.
