How do I invite a customer to my organisation?

In some cases, you may need to send your contacts an 'organisation invitation' so that they can link their account to your organisation

You may need to invite a customer to your organisation after contacts have been imported into your system, which will send them an email to finish setting up their account.

 

Steps – Contact record:

If you’re inviting one contact, the quickest way is via their contact record.

  • Search for the contact and click their name
  • Click ‘Actions’ in the top-left, then ‘Invite to’ and choose ‘Organisation’

 

Steps – Contacts page:

If you’re inviting multiple contacts, the contacts page is the quickest way. The following steps can also be followed in reports and registers.

  • Navigate to Contact management > Contacts
  • Tick the checkbox next to the contact(s) you wish to invite
  • In the left sidebar, click ‘Invite to’ and choose ‘Organisation’

Note: To customise the invitation email, navigate to Communication > Email templates – the specific template is titled ‘Organisation invitation’.
